Foster Care Fortnight
PICS (Partnerships in Children’s Services) are a family of independent fostering agencies who share a vision for building a brighter future for children in care.
Each year PICS join the annual campaign, Foster Care Fortnight, to raise awareness of the transformational power of fostering and to celebrate the fostering community.
The theme of this year’s campaign was ‘This is Fostering’. Its main focus was to highlight the real-life contributions of those involved in foster care.
Conteur were given the brief of rolling out a national campaign to obtain local and regional press coverage, with the addition of increased organic SEO. We also planned to gain broadcast media interest. All of this would support their online reputation, brand awareness and ultimately increase enquiries during the campaign.
Our Solution / Results
We took the annual campaign to a regional audience with a tribute-led campaign thanking foster carers for their efforts, particularly during the coronavirus outbreak.
The campaign landed quality hits across print, digital media and broadcast media, while celebrating the devotion of foster carers and the positive impact that they have on society.
During the two week campaign, we achieved a total Advertising Value Equivalent of £23,000+, over 30 pieces of coverage and a daily circulation of over 600,000 for our client.
