We’re on the hunt for an energetic, creative and media savvy individual to join the Conteur team. If you are ambitious, passionate, PR professional with experience of running client accounts, then we’d love to hear from you.

What will I be doing…?

PR is at the core of our company’s work. We take pride in the excellent work that we deliver for our valued clients.

Continued growth and development has meant an ever-increasing amount of work for our team, which is why we’re now on the lookout for a PR Account Manager to add value to our company. You will be working closely with our Senior Management team and leading on strategic public relations programmes for a range of clients. As such, within your role, you will have a variety of responsibilities including regular contact with clients and the media, attendance at meetings, presenting, researching and drafting copy, analysing client performance and brainstorming creative PR campaigns.

Am I the right person …?

This is a fantastic opportunity to have a big impact on a small but growing company – hence we are looking for a self-motivated, driven person who will help us to continue our growth through proactive business development and relationship building.

  • You’ll have proven PR experience across both media and social media, and can talk about results that you have helped to generate
  • Comfortable working with both big brands and rapid start-ups
  • Confident in managing accounts on budget and to time, working directly with clients, running teams and managing colleagues
  • Able to write compelling content for media and marketing materials
  • Strong presenter, keen to share ideas and pitch projects internally and to clients
  • Able to think beyond traditional media relations when it comes to idea generation and want to learn more about multi-channel delivery
  • Ultimately, you love PR in all its forms and actively follow the media landscape, lead media sell ins, immerse yourself in campaign launches, inspire your team and achieve great results

Previous experience of working in a PR environment is essential and you must be proficient in using Microsoft Office and have a passion for writing, with a knowledge of digital marketing also advantageous. Our clients are at the heart of everything we do; so excellent communication and customer service is a must. You’ll also have your driving licence and be willing to travel within the UK as required.

We’ve established that you’ll have the experience to take on this role, but it’s even more important to us that you have the right character and attitude to shine on behalf of our company. As you will be part of a small team, you must be confident, outgoing, proactive and excited by the opportunities open to you. As such, within your role, you will have a variety of responsibilities including regular contact with clients and the media, attendance at meetings, researching and drafting copy, analysing client performance and brainstorming creative PR campaigns.

Junior Video Editor / Full-time / £18-22k

Content and storytelling is at the core of our company’s work. We take pride in the excellent work that we deliver for our valued clients. Continued growth and development has meant an ever-increasing amount of work for our production team, which is why we’re now on the lookout for a Junior Video Editor to add value to our company. You will be working closely with our Video Production Manager and working on a diverse mix of content for a range of clients, particularly within the Health & Social Care sectors.

Am I the right person …?

We’re looking for an editor to join our talented Video Production Team in Worcestershire. You are a highly talented and skilled editor with experience in cutting narrative, message-based films. You will be adept in using Final Cut Pro and have a working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite.

You are a creative individual who can demonstrate your contribution to making and developing great films for clients, reflected by your outstanding showreel and portfolio. Your portfolio should demonstrate that you have mastered a variety of editing styles and can combine great storytelling with creative flair. Some motion graphics experience is also essential.

You are on a continuous quest to learn and better yourself through collaboration with others and mastering your craft. You are a highly motivated, self-starter who can work independently as well as part of a team. In turn, you will have the opportunity to develop and grow within a friendly environment at an agency that is constantly moving forwards.

Further notes

You must be based within commuting distance of Worcester. Once COVID restrictions lift the expectation will be for several days a week in the office. You will be expected to work flexibly and undertake other related commercial duties both in the UK and overseas as the company may from time to time reasonably require.

To help support our ambitious plans for growth, we’re looking for a New Business Development Manager with a growth mindset to help devise and implement our new business development activity, showcasing our core services of PR, Digital Marketing, Video Production and Graphic Design to potential clients across our key sectors of Health & Social Care, Technology, Hospitality and Property.

As New Business Development Manager, you’ll have responsibility for leading on our agency marketing strategy to raise awareness, build our profile and deliver new business opportunities, as well as qualifying and progressing inbound enquiries. Working across a range of tasks including (but not limited to) marketing collateral development, targeted content marketing campaigns, social media, website management, newsletters, PR coordination, event support and outreach work.

Requirements

* Raising the profile of Conteur, both regionally and in our core sectors

* Proactive lead generation

* Producing and executing a comprehensive marketing plan, delivering all activity within an agreed budget and timeframe

* Working alongside the wider team to ensure our marketing activity maximises opportunities to promote the agency across all platforms

* Planning and implementing digital content strategy and social media, including managing the agency website

* Supporting the new business process, contributing to presentations and pitches

* Managing our customer and prospect relationship management communications, working with colleagues to generate news, insight, case studies to showcase our experience

* Managing our event programme

* Developing and supporting PR activity
